Tour Plan
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by Dallago Tours representative and given a short safari briefing before being transferred to your hotel,
Dinner & Overnight at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages.
Day 2: NAIROBI - Nanyuki
Early breakfast and depart for Nanyuki, arriving for lunch at The Trout Tree Restaurant for lunch.
The Trout Tree Nanyuki restaurant is built around an enormous Sacred Fig. sitting on the banks of the Burguret River, whose source is the snow filled peaks of Mount Kenya. Icy water cascades through the grounds of the restaurant feeding pools filled with trout.
After a hearty lunch you will proceed to Soames Hotel & Jack' s Bar where you will check-in ,freshen up before dinner.
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch boxes and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for game drives, visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the education centre and feed ‘Baraka’ the tame blind black rhino.
Conservancy is home to Kenya’s largest population of Black Rhino, considerable numbers of elephant, cheetah, lion, leopard and plentiful plains game. There are also a number of rare Northern species like Grevys Zebra, Jacksons Hartebeest and Beisa Oryx.
Later in the afternoon you will go on a Lion Tracking experience
Guests will be picked up at 3.30pm in a Shared Conservancy vehicle, the tracking will finish at around 5.30pm. You are required to remain in the vehicle at all times. Drinking water, lion ID sheets and pens will be provided and we would recommend that clients come with their cameras and binoculars.
After the tour return to Soames Hotel to freshen up followed by dinner.
After an early breakfast descend from the Kenya Highlands into the Great Rift Valley and on to Lake Naivasha, one Kenya's most beautiful lakes. Arrive for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Afternoon boat ride in Lake Naivasha where you get close to Cormorants drying their wings, Pink Backed Pelicans, Herons, colourful Kingfishers and Fish Eagles. Proceed to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. It is a park where you walk with animals and it is also home to Maasai giraffe, diks diks ,Zebra ,impala and gazelle among many other animals.
After the tour return to the lodge for dinner.
Today you are off to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will check out of your lodge after breakfast and arrive for lunch at Tipilikwani Camp in the Mara. On arrival and check in, you will have lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in your tent waiting for late evening when the temperature cools to head out on your first game viewing drive in Maasai Mara Reserve.
After breakfast drive across the Mara plains in search of the big five and other plains game or engage in the optional activities on offer at the Maasai Mara. The early mornings are one of the best times to view the animals as this is when they are their most active before the heat of the day sets in. After a mid-morning of relaxation and lunch, head out into the reserve for a chance to tick off some more animals on your “must see” list. Keep your eyes peeled as you hunt for the last members on your list. Visit the Mara River and ask your guide to show you the regular river crossing routes.

For an additional cost you can take hot air balloon safaris over the Masai Mara can be arranged, as well as visits to a local Maasai Manyatta (village).
Breakfast and transfer to the Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi.
Note: Baggage allowance is 15 Kgs /33Ibs in soft-sided bags. A fee for any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
On arrival you are met and transferred to Nairobi Airport for your onward flight.
